I considered these for my home set, but ended up going with Gearwrench instead. Only real reason being that i would be constantly having to clean the grease and grime off the nice blue handles. They seem like a nice set, and i'm sure Channel Lock wouldn't put their name on them if they weren't up to par.

They look like 'Bomb Pops' popsicles from the ice cream truck.

Made in China. They're on clearance in the midwest at Menards, some big set of them plus a bottle opener and 6 in 1 for 19.99. I like that they have the thru the shaft blades with a strike cap, but I took a pass on them.

The color kinda *****. I am inquiring about quality. The price is nice enough to afford. I think about $8-9 each for #2 Phillips and $4 for stubbies. I like the fact that they are made for striking. I am probably going to buy a pair to try out. Just wanted to know if anyone had experience with them. As far as cleaning, they are probably just as bad as my SO Instincts. Plus these aren't USA made. I think they say Taiwan on the back, at least the ones at OSH did.

Edit. They are made in China, says so on their website.

You can get a set of Wera Chiseldrivers from chadstoolbox.com using the testthebest code for 20-something dollars plus shipping. I'd suggest that route.

I purchased about 12 of these sets a few years ago. They were on clearance in Sam's Club for $3.00 each. The handles fit well and the tips have held up just fine with the limited use they have seen. All of the people that I gave them to have told me the screwdrivers are great, of course they don't know I paid $3.00 for them.

we have them where I work . They are pretty nice and I kinda like the fact they are screemin sky blue and red. Nobody else will have one that looks like that. The big metal cap with the tip that goes through the driver handle is kinda nice. It almost wants to make you use it as a chisel driver. But thats not what channellock intended it for. But either way nice drivers. Only drawback they are Chinese. Which surprised me because I thought channellocks big thing was U.S. made in Meadville P.A. But then again all their adjustable wrenches are Spanish.

Still nice tho. But like bart said I would rather have the wera's they are pretty nice and the new chisel drivers seem to solve the age old problem of how to get stuck screws out. HIT IT!

Thanks

My set has served me very well. Note that tips are magnetic. I do wish the shafts were bolstered. I find the handles comfortable and they clean up just fine.
