Hey, what's everyone's opinion about channel lock tools, slip plyer's, cutters adjustable wrenches and what ever other tool they make?
I've used them for years and I like them very much, although I'm just a hobbyist that likes nice Am. made tools.
I can't compare them to any of the Cadillac brands (Snappy) but what I like about them is that they are solely made in America, Pa. for that matter. When buying a channel lock tool you don't have to read the fine print to make sure that they may have an off brand made in China or Taiwan, unlike even even for Snappy (blue line).
Come to think of it, I like my needle nose, and wire cutters better than the Klein's I have. The rust proof coating is nice too.
Funny thing, while looking at plyers at a big box store, I noticed a Dewalt brand, it was priced 2 bucks more than the compliable channel lock brand, low and behold it was made in China, go figure.
Thanks for reading
David
