I saw this at my local Lowe's today. It's available online also. I think it's a good price for a 12", 10", 7" US made tongue and groove pliers and a screwdriver. The screwdriver is most likely China made, but still not a bad price for 29 bucks.

I was in Lowe's yesterday with a printout and tried to buy this set at full price.

The store manager copped an attitude like I was trying to rip him off and refused to sell it to me at the full advertised retail price.

Be nice if it had the 430 instead. That's my go to size that I use. Still a pretty good price for three sets and a bonus screwdriver

I bought that set a while back, maybe six months, and the screwdriver COO was China. I'm pretty sure it listed the COO for the screwdriver separate on the packaging.

I recently purchased that set, and the screwdriver wasn't USA made. I too got mine from Lowes. They didn't have any on display, but I asked about them and they were in the overhead storage. The guy dropped one when getting it down and gave me 30 off due to damaged packaging. That being said, pay attention to the finish quality, as I had to exchange my 420's due to poor fitment.

Yea I've been looking at that set for a while, surprised that some of the ones people get are all 100% US made even the screwdriver. Others say the screwdriver is made in China. Boy if they go down to 20 bucks would be a good deal.

Even at 29 it's not bad at all. I looked up the prices on the pliers seperately and you're saving good 12-15 bucks if you get the set. I tried finding the CCO of the screwdriver through the packaging, but couldn't see anything - not a good sign usually.

It should be on the bottom of the front side to left of the 440's. It says pliers made in the USA and the screwdriver is made to Channellock standards in China. You can zoom in on the packaging on the Amazon page below.

Home Depot also has a nice 4 piece Channellock set, exclusive to Home Depot. 42 bucks. But 4 great 100% made in the USA tools. Not 3 USA tools plus a China screwdriver thrown into the mix for good measure like the Lowes deal.

That's a nice set, looking at it and the Lowe's 4 pc tongue and grove set you would get 7 Channellock pieces, for 72 bucks plus the Chines screwdriver. Even though you would get 2 tongue and groves of the same size.:dunno:
