Can Canadian's participate? Would you ship it across the border to Canada?

So you start up the HOT DEALS index and now you are coming around to let everybody know you are giving away free flashlights and tools!? Man, you deserve to get laid every day for the rest of your life.

Unfortunately, that won't be possible this time around. Channellock, or rather my contact there, will be sending the prize out directly to the winner.

Some of my giveaways are open to Canadian entrants, though, such as the Redline flashlight one I ran on the forum.

lol, thanks?

I occasionally send out random tools and accessories as well. I think I ordered/gifted more than a dozen Streamlight Stylus Pros in the past year and a half or so. My Amazon shipping address list is getting a bit too unwieldy with too many names.

About the Hot Deals, that was a bit of therapy. I can't post every great deal I find on the blog, and I can't keep them to myself or else I'll pull out my wallet and credit card every time. Mention deals knowing that others will get in on the savings help me control my spending. Seriously!

Stuey, maybe you could contact Reelcraft and see if they would sponsor your blog for a giveaway of one of these:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000225BA/?tag=atomicindus08-20

That would just make my day LOL, I probably wouldn't win but hey, you never know. I look forward to your first newsletter too.

If only it worked that way!

I'm still working on the format and content for the newsletter. It might be mid-late June before it's out, but don't worry, it will include at least one exclusive giveaway.

Sometimes it is possible, like if I have something in-hand and ready to ship. With the flashlights, I ordered the prizes via Amazon to be shipped directly. Even in that case, to ship to Canada I would have order it to be shipped to me before reshipping it off to a Canadian address. Sometimes that's okay, though.

Commented.... I have a few that were passed down from my dad.
Love them and never ever failed... and I know that I will pass them to my son one day. :D

In a nutshell, this is what GJ is about in my mind. Someone taking the time to help others. Pay it forward kind of stuff. Thank you for the opportunity to add to my growing Channel Lock assortment.

Now I'm curious about the size of the rivets on other pliers brands....
I didn't know it had any effect on the gripping strength. I do understand the part about moving the fulcrum.
Well, gripping and cutting strength is related to the mechanical leverage, which can be influenced by the rivet size as it can shift the pivot axis.

Sorry about the delay. The winners have been selected via random.org and contacted. It took a little bit of time b/c some people entered more than once so I had to go back and enter >100 names into a spreadsheet.

The winner of the Channellock set is Maikeru, and the Redline Flashlight winners are Jerrick, Sharon, and Harold.
