Channellock bogo @ Fred Meyers

All hand tools are buy on get one at fred meyers right now. Couldn't find anything I needed but noticed the Channellock 6pc ratcheting wrench sets were on sale for $19. Buy a set of SAE and get your metrics free.

I would not have thought of Fred Meyers as having Channellock tools. I may have to take a look there.

Hmmm, I'm not sure I saw Channellock at local stores last time I looked. They had like 30% off all hand tools the last time I was in there, but didn't see anything worthwhile. Mainly Stanley and Black-n-Decker stuff.

Will have to check it out.

A couple months ago I bought some Channellock pliers that were pretty heavily discounted (420's for ~$11 or so) at Fred Meyers. A week ago I didn't see anything left.

Checked them out last night, they are made by Allied. For $10/each I still grabbed both sets for a car kit.

They had some Irwin stuff, but it was all basically sale prices with the BOGO.

Stopped by and found the only Channellock tools were the combination ratcheting wrenches at $9.99, buy one, get one free. I messed with the wrenches and the ratcheting mechanism and I can say they are worth $9.99. A bit below Harbor Freight in quality of build. I was disappointed to see Channellock's name on it so I passed.

I looked at the rest of the tools present and honestly, nothing was worth buying even one of. A special trip to the store and I left empty handed. I just could not get any interest.
