I got to use a channellock code blue wire cutter today... SOOOOOO NICE.

Just thought Id share. It was the only one that I got to use though. The grips are really nice, and the jaws open and close very smoothly, nice close tolerances on everything. High quality finish. $$$ but good.

I believe they have a stronger steal....to directly compete to the Knipex line....even playing field I guess

I just bought the big ( not biggest) Channellock water pump pliers (I think they are the 460 series). They retail for about $30 (in stores), but I hade a 50% off coupon for the local TrueValue and so I got them for $15. They are huge (open to about 4") and real nice. And you cannot beat an American-made tool lke that for $15!!!! And no shipping!!!

Well ive never used plain channel lock wire cutters, so I cant dsirectly compare the quality, but there is a superb finish on them, and I did quite abit of cutting, no signs of wear whatso ever.

And yeah, the handles are nicer too.
