So I asked about getting some stickers for my toolbox on the Channellock Facebook page the other night. Like 2 nights ago. I got home from work to find UPS had left this on the porch. 4 awesome stickers, a neat book and a set of 440 12 inch Channies and a nice card! I am gobsmacked! How awesome is that? I love this company! Still quality, awesome, reasonably priced tools made in Meadville, PA, USA.

Channellock, you guys rock and have made me a loyal customer for life!

Nice! Every time I see something like this I wish I had thought to ask for some swag or a means to purchase some. Then I feel like its bad form to do the same just because someone else did and got some free stuff.. Oh well... Awesome support from Channellock.

For those that didn't know, the company actually partnered up with another Meadville company to make the previously imported handles for the Code Blue line here in the USA. This company refuses to make anything but quality American tools for an exceptional price.

That's great! I googled the book and found this: http://www.sbcadvertising.com/work/125-years-strong

I've been on a bit of a binge and have a feeling I'll be hitting up a local company for some of the larger oil filter/PVC pliers next week...have the small ones from HD. It goes to show that Channellock is a proud company that values it's customers. In a day where so many other companies have sold out and/or outsourced, seeing a blue handled tool that is "fiercely" made in this country is a welcome sigh of relief.

That is really cool of Channellock! Its always reassuring to hear that there are still companies that will reach out to a customer to show their appreciation.

Very cool indeed.
I actually just got my 338 wire cutters replaced under warranty for a chip in the blade today.

Channellock, (and maybe Facom) are the only brands I would go so far as to say I'm a "fan of"

You guys ****. I caved into the Channellock 957. I need to rewire the radio and some other electrical wiring in my old van, anyhow.

I would have absolutely no use for them. Other than basic 110 stuff on fully disconnected, plug in lines I don't touch electrical. In fact if I did so at work I would be fired for it as no one aside from our electricians can touch anything like that.

And the proud winner of a YS award is...you! Seriously, congrats. Maybe you could use your newfound fame and find out where if anywhere anyone can get the round 422s instead of the v-shaped 422s.

Channellock responded to a query I made on Facebook about the 422 round jaw vs. the v-jaw, and whether the older style might come back:

Channellock said:
The unique jaw design creates more points of contact on round stock and tubing. This creates a stronger bite and more control.
