Channellock stuff :D

I'm very happy with the quality and price of their stuff. My father swears by it and recently I have been buying a few Channellock items. Today I was at Canadian Tire and the entire line was on sale!

I picked up much needed wire strippers 25$ down to 16$, Massive Channellocks from 40$ down to 26$ and some linemans pilers for 12$.. Very happy with my purchases.

I bought the snap ring pliers, wire crimpers and wire strippers today for about 40 bucks. The quality is great. I am usually a snapon guy, but the channellock tools have impressed me so much that I buy them first now.

Any idea on the warranty of these? will cdn tire exchange them?

All Channellock tools carry a life-time warranty on manufacture's
defects and defects in workmanship. We do not guarantee the tool if it

I have some SO pilers but I figure that the Channellock stuff is just as good if not better for 50% of the price... sometimes more when on sale. Made In USA is all that matters for me!

I can't recall ever having a problem with any Channellock stuff. My favorites are the 349 Wiremaster linemans pliers, and the 410 and 414 Nutbusters.

they work great on rounded fasters. basically they are large battery pliers.

all I know is that I really like my channellock stuff
I have some of the snap on and MAC (made in usa) pliers and the channellocks are every bit as good IMOP

and the handles remind me of 'petty blue'

My favorite are the Nutbusters. All there other still is nice too, but I love the Nutbusters.

I have been using the Channellock stuff for a while. I am very happy with all the things I have used. Made in the USA and WAY cheaper than Klein.
Even their adjustable wrenches that aren't made in the USA (Made by Irega - Spain IIRC) are some of the nicest I have used. I have yet to find another 8" long adjustable wrench with 1.5"+ capacity. In my line of work I take a lot of 1"+ low-torque caps on and off and there is no reason for me to carry around a 12" adjustable.

I have both Knipex and Channellock and when it comes to the cobra grip or the nutbusters I don't see much different in fact the nutbusters maybe grip alittle tighter on some jobs

Another nice thing about Channellock is that you can order directly off of their website making it easy to buy tools that aren't stocked locally or are on backorder. No sales tax (at least when shipping to Indiana) and no shipping charges. Placed an order on a Sunday afternoon a couple of weeks ago, it shipped on Monday, and was at my front door on Wednesday afternoon. Seems like the prices are on par with Home Depot or Lowes without dealing with the stores.

I agree with everything except the prices. It seems to be around $5 more directly through them.
