Anybody knows as to whether they mfg their own or those are made for Channellock by somebody else? http://a.co/gOcsmSE is what I grabbed from my buddy's box in a pinch, and I was very pleasantly surprised by the way they fit the fastener precisely and function in general. I have my Wiha soft handles on a loan to another buddy at the moment :)

The torx with the acetate handles are identified 'Made in USA' on their web site. Pratt Read is my guess too. Prices seem very reasonable.

Thank you. Pratt Read is the oldest tool manufacturer in the USA. XVIII Century stuff. I bought a small 5 pcs kit, they also have a small sized 'precision' kit as well. Never knew that Channellock makes anything else outside their pliers line.

apdxyk,

Channellock outsources several other tools to supplement their hardline products, such as:

Ratcheting screwdriver from Megapro (Canada)
Combination wrenches, ratcheting wrenches, and mechanics tool sets from Taiwanese OEMs
Locking pliers from Grip-on (Spain)
Adjustable wrenches from Irega (Spain)

Do they still make Locking Pliers? I can't find much about them anywhere
