I have used a set of Snap-On 47CF 8" slip-joint (straight) pliers and they are absolutely awesome. I can squeeze on them with everything I've got and they still feel solid. Does Channel Lock make a set of straight slip joint pliers that compare to the Snap-On ones? I looked at their website and the Channel Lock 548 seems pretty similar.

Anybody have both that can share their opinion? (BTW, Channellock makes a couple different models of straight slip-joint pliers in each size.)
