I bought this sprayer based on the rave reviews it got online. Part way through the very first pump, I heard hissing, and sure enough, it will not hold pressure!
I checked all the 'obvious' connections, but they are tight and the only place it is leaking seems to be through the 'relief valve' in the fill lid itself. I don't see anything obviously out of whack or user serviceable anyway.
The lesson I take from this is to not put so much faith in online reviews! I wrote my OWN review about this thing on Amazon to let others know, and will also update it if it is resolved.
For now, I'd say don't buy a Chapin sprayer!
