Hi, I have a 12v Bosch charger that came with some tools I bought in Europe. I currently can't find my American one, and the Euro one isn't labeled for dual voltage. Does anyone know if these work dual voltage even though they aren't labeled for it?not is 50/60hz rated, but I don't see 120v on it. Figured I'd ask before just plugging it in and ruining it or a battery.

Can't see why they would make it compatible with 120v and it says 220-240v...does the part number match the US version?
From what I see, yes, they match, here's the manual for the US model, same model number. Highlighted top left.

Maybe the guts are the same, but two different stickers feels odd.

I wonder if you can see any labeling on the circuit board. Would. Also give you a chance to swap the cord

Several companies have been known to do this, Sony was pretty notorious for it with electronics 10 or so years back, all PS3 slim models used the same dual voltage power supply internally, but would only be labeled for the market they were in, several of their TVs were the same. Bosch isn't Sony, but I wouldn't put it past any company to do this. Hell, they rebrand them as Bosch professional in Europe just to sell a line of cheaper tool as Bosch there.

Didn't see anything on the board, I can post a pic of someone here knows how to read them better though.

Odd that sticker on charger shows 220-240 input voltage @50-60 hz but manual shows 120v@60. Is it possible there is selector switch on circuit board for configuration with US or Euro cord and plug?

Also the model no comes up as "EU GAL 12v-40" with SKU on label of charger. I wouldn't expect it to be same as US model.
