I need to replace the red & black wires on my battery charger (small 6 amp.). Where can I find replacement wire? I would like to have wire a flexible as when it was new (many years ago). I have looked for wire at several big swap meets but no one has any thing like the original.
Thanks
Charles

Any std 2-wire will work. Even 16 gage is overkill for 6 amps (I assume 12 volt charger). Unless you must have red and black, any hardware store has it. For red and black it may require more searching, not sure of a source for that off top of my head.

If you want flexilibility the silicone covered wire is what you need. Radio Shack may carry it however the easiest way to get short lengths is from a hobby shop(Radio Control cars and planes ) they use it to connect batteries to motors etc so it is color coded and those suckers pull some amps so you should be good
Also if you have any old multimeter leads with broken ends they may welll be silicone wire (the Better quality ones are ) maybe a little short though.

You can use any 18 AWG zip cord (lamp cord) but silicone insulated wire is the most flexible. Use color coded clips if the wire is not color coded. Color coded clips are readily available but can be made with a little shrink wrap.
