Hey guys, Someone asked me about charging several car batteries at one time off of one charger. I find it more useful to do this with a battery saver or a maintainer, but here is my video on how to do this.
No 2 batteries are exactly alike. When putting batteries on a long term "maintenance" charger, you are better off buying multiple chargers of swapping the one charger between each battery every few days.
If you are going to be doing this a lot it would be easier to go to the local fishing store and by a cgarger for a mutiple battery electric trolling motor install.
You can get chargers for up to 3 batteries.
All they are is 3 seprate chargeres with a common AC input cord.
They are able to work on different sizes of batteries at the same time and can be set for a quick or slow or maint charge.
If you get a bad battery then the charging never stops and causes catastrophe. Besides splitting the charger's output makes all of them go slower. Better to make a charging bank, perhaps a shelf with chargers and a place to hang cords.
