I found this vise when I was 15 years old I’m now 37 and was finally able to do a proper restoration on it. Found it in the dirt rusted up solid. Got it freed up and usable, and I happened to be just at the right time because I had just broken an old Colombian that I had mounted to a bench in my father’s garage. 10 years or so later I though I’d do a lazy man’s restoration on it including wire wheeling and just coating it in oil. Fast forward another 12 years, present day when I was looking at all my other vises and thought that one needed some love so disassemble that completely and thoroughly ready for paint and this is the final product.
