Good evening everyone,

I bought a Chas Parker 436 a while back, and as luck would have it.. it is missing the bolt that holds the base to the static jaw.

I have tried searching everywhere for a replacement, but no dice.

Does anyone happen to have one handy to take bolt measurements off of?

If I could get the measurements fron someone, I will have one machined up.

I have a 434 1/2, but I'm not sure if it is the same used in the 436 version. Seems to work, but would hate to be slightly too small, and accidentally tear out the threads.

Thanks in advance!

Nice vise!
I'd start by figuring out the thread size and pitch. Then see if you can make it work with a bolt at the hardware store. If that doesn't work see if there's an off the shelf shoulder bolt that would work. Last resort would be to machine something. Good luck.

Alright guys, time for an update! Thank you for the reply. My father in law made up this bolt, and it fits like an absolute glove! 2d241e40d0eede626e55557ef820934f.jpg
