Its just a steel handle. I got these and had them drilled and tapped to 9/16". Get two, get the end of that handle down to 9/16" coarse and screw them on.

I just picked up a Parker 105 on CL. Cool vise. But it is missing the lead screw collar. These pics of yours looks like it might be missing from yours also? Did you end up doing anything to replace it?

Any suggestions on making one?

Bump this up to see of anyone who has a Parker might be able to help with a replacement for the collar?

I responded in a post to someone that I was parting out a 3 1/2" No. 87 Parker. They also were looking for a collar. I'll take mine off and measure the ID of the bottom.

I recently bought a Wilton which was missing one cap piece.

On autopts (very helpful) advice, I welded a steel nut on it and used a bench grinder to shape it to an approximate version of what was on the other end.

I don't have much skill for this sort of thing. But for what I need, this will work fine. If you need yours to look more correct, then King Metals will sell you a 3/4" steel sphere for less than a buck. If you drill it, you could weld it on there pretty easily and have it look the same as the other one.

Thanks. And I think I am calling it the right thing, but I need the part that holds the screw and handle from coming out of the vise. On the nice ones, it has Parker in raised lettering.

On mine, just the remnants of the single screw is broken off where it supposed to be attached.

My lead screw just turns until it pops out of the jaws with no collar there to hold it to the dynamic jaw.

Here is a close up of the missing collar. Does anyone have a big parker that can show me what this piece looks like? I am going to try and get it apart and cleaned up this weekend. Might just need to fab something up that would work?

Can you take some measurements of the collar?

The shaft on the 105 is 0.88". The outside of the collar would be around 2.72"

Does it have two screws that hold it on the dynamic jaw, or one? Mine only has one, but some of the others I've seen have 2.
