Hello,

I am restoring a Chase Parker No 20 vise. I have no idea the value but the date on it is 1854.

I is missing the swivel mechanism but everything else is in great shape.

Can someone tell me the value?

Can someone tell me how to get or make the bottom swivel mechanism?

Thank you!!

With all due respect, ”Chas” is actually an antique way of abbreviating Charles. The name is Charles Parker and it’s the same company that made the famous Charles Parker shotguns. You are missing a bottom cast disc that the vise sits on, a long threaded rod that screws into the base and passes thru the hole in the mounting disc and the workbench, and a large elaborate cast wing nut that tightens everything down. One of our Parker experts will be along shortly to pass on details and sizes.
