Anyone have any opinions/recommendations on the chassis ear type products?

I'm having a hard time pinpointing some suspension noises and these seem to get some pretty good reviews from both pro's and diy's. As always I prefer GJ tool reviews to amazon.

I'm looking at the wired model (which looks like a future rat nest), some of the reviews have me shying away from the wireless one.

Thanks!

I've used the wired one many times and found it extremely helpful when diagnosing suspension noises, creaks, pops, etc. As long as you take care with the wires when using it or putting it away, they're really not that bad.

I have the Steelman wired set at home; love it. Totally worth the $100.

I totally agree with the above poster: the rats nest you fear is only an issue if you let it be - I always keep the wires tidy and have never had an issue.

Apparently the wireless ones are ******, too much interference and noise. Couple of coworkers have the wired ones and they seem to work okay.
