Cheap Chinese mag drill?

Anyone here own one? I know Milwaukee is a chinese mag drill, but they're not cheap. I've seen a pile of them on ebay in the 350 - 500 range and thought I would ask here before pulling the trigger. It's only for a one time job, and don't want an expensive one sitting around until another job pops up.

And no, I'm not hunting for a used USA made one. It's hard to find good stuff in Canada. I just want to aim and pull the trigger on a new one.

Try a local welding supplier. The one I get gases from rents them, pretty reasonably too.

sk farmer - Guess I have to pm you too. I'm in the same boat. I want to do 24 - 90' notches in 1.90 OD pipe so I've been thinking of an annular cutter with MT2 to 3/4 weldon adapter on my drill press. A mag drill would be simpler.

LD - maybe we can split the rental although the MT2 adapter may be useful in the future once it's paid for.

If anyone has any experience using an annular cutter on a drill press with an adapter I'd like to hear about it.
