Maybe that was too much of a novel, let me shorten this up.

Anyone have experience with the RokRez Pro 100% Solids epoxy (Made by Simiron, or something). If so what were your thoughts?

THanks!

Are you in Canada? I did a google search for the product and only saw it listed on Costco's Canadian site (Costco.ca) and not the US site.

I don't know if they'll let you order a product from Costco.ca and ship it to the US.

Anyhow, first I've ever heard of this stuff. I just stumbled across your thread while researching my DIY options. I also happen to be a big fan of Costco, so this thread got me excited.

I am in Canada yes (weird I guess I never entered it?!).

I am not a big fan of Costco, but, if the price is right! :D

But the deal fell through unfortunately! So I'm not a happy camper. At this rate, it may be looking like Interlocking tiles are my best option. Unfortunately I don't like the cheap look of them :( But may definitely be the easiest! I was hoping to seal out moisture, not just hide it below some tiles! hah

Hi
Take a look at our www.supratile.com. These are industrial grade solid (not hollow like many others) interlocking floor tiles. They may suit you better.

Welcome to the forum.

If I were in the market to buy products for an epoxy floor, I would buy them from a vendor on this forum. I am not saying the Costco epoxy product isn't any good, it may be just fine. However, the vendors here on this forum have excellent products and they stand behind those products and they have excellent customer service. If you have an issue, they can, and they will, help you. I am not knocking Costco products or their customer service, I shop there myself and have had no problems with them. But when it comes to something like this I have a whole lot more trust in the vendors on this forum than I do for the people working at Costco.

I just used the product in april on my 800 sf garage floor. I did not buy from Costco, but from my local ben moore paint dealer. I am very pleased with the product. I used both the metallic and the chip broadcast and found the metallic to look better and easier to apply. The chips took 3 coats of clear to fully cover to my liking which got costly. The metallic covered in one coat. The coverage was about 200sf per kit. Only disappointment is that where it was applied to thick, it shows cloudy. I would recommend the product.

Not always a viable option for those of us living in Canada with exchange rate, shipping, duty etc we need to add at least 40% to the prices you guys see which often takes it out of the range of being affordable.

Understood, good point, but I wasn't aware he is from Canada.
