Cheap garage cabinet options

I checked out some of the nice shop cabinets at lowes and depo , but they all just seemed to pricey for me. And quality didnt seem to match the price either.

My other option is I might keep an ear out for someone that is re-doing thier kitchen and id snag their cabinets, and then repaint them and etc. But removal without damage might be tricky.

Is there any other cabinets that are reasonably priced anyone want to recommend?

lateral file cabinet on CL, there are **** ton of them out there dirt cheap and they can hold a lot. check out the business section.

Might try a army surplus store. There's one about 30 miles from me, they have a ton of filing cabinets. Not sure what they are selling them for, never priced them.

Build your own. 2x4's are cheap. Frame out a bench and use OSB for shelves. There are quite a few places that you can buy seconds on cabinet doors. Find some of those and make face frames from 1x3's or 1x4's. You can make some nice looking cabinets for a little bit of change.
