I have a 24 x 24 9 post car port that I am thinking of turning into a shop/workspace.

What is the cheapest way to get a floor in? Right now it is just gravel and grass and dirt.

Keep in mind that the floor will be in the weather until I put up walls, which may take a while. I think I have ADD because I cant finish anything:shocking:

cheapest way would be to frame it up and pour it and loose 4-6" of ceiling height, the other option is to cut off the posts or dig them out, move the structure with some equipment, then pour the floor and put it back on top, but yeah for on the cheap, frame it up, and pour within what you already have, and then build some walls.

Would concrete be cheaper than building a deck? This is something I will never drive on, just a workspace.
