I do a lot of small carburetors on weedwackers and mowers and think it is time I had an ultrasonic cleaner. Anyone got a suggestion on a small "inexpensive" unit?

Check ebay/amazon for the generic brand ultrasonic with the square/rectangle stainless steel body and blue label. There is about 100 different brand names for them but are all exactly the same. Ive been using one for my restorations for years and never had an issue.

I've heard the harbor freight unit is pretty good.

Zokop with the knobs. I got a small one for about $65. Much better than a cheap jewelry cleaner.

Yes, spend a few more bucks and avoid the HF "toy". Most of these no name units like Zokop are OEM'd by Beijing Ultrasonics and are decent units at an affordable price.

You get stainless steel tank, stainless steel basket, lid, decent thermostatic heater, drain valve, etc. The circuit design is also pretty decent. The 6L Zokop unit with mechanical knobs is better then the digital unit because it has a higher wattage heater.
