I've got a Kennedy roll cab that's got chipped paint and rust on some parts. Anybody know a cheap rattle can brown that matches the color alright? I know Kennedy sells the official color matching stuff for like $30 a can. I don't mind it being a little off and don't need to match the wrinkle, I'm just looking for some Krylon or Rustoleum or something that's close and I can pick up cheap.

Color match a quart of oil based paint at your local Hardware store? Dab it on with an artist’s brush or spray it with a Preval sprayer for touch ups.
Also, many paint stores will put your color match in a spray can.
Post what you find.

Somewhere (maybe) I found a suggestion to use Leather Brown paint from Rustoleum or Krylon, forget which. Have the can, have not tried it yet.

I use Krylon Camouflage Brown. It is a Flat Brown that matches pretty close .

Could be someone changed the color since the recommendation was made some years back. I may have been quoting a 10 year old answer.
Are his 3 yr old response could have been based on a 10 yr old purchase.
