A lot of what gets discussed around here seems to be "metal oriented" (machining, automotive, welding, etc.), but I know there's some woodworkers here, so I thought maybe this might be of interest. I found this video to be both enlightening & fun: turning a junk hand plane into a decent(~ish) plane.
