Funny, I was just in AutoZone today buying some Evapo-rust and played around with there new small micro offset 1/4" ratchet while waiting in line, it wasn't bad at all for $9.

Some of the ebay sellers have some of their stuff. Rock bottom sells a couple of their security sets for around 10 bucks shipped (so a couple of bucks off store prices). I was looking at one of their sets, not sure if it's a rebrand though.

From what I've seen, prices on Titan don't vary much. Amazon with Prime is probably going to come out lowest, or depending on how much you're buying you may get a good deal with a coupon somewhere, but I don't think you're going to miss out on some great deal just by buying wherever is most convenient. That 1/4 micro ratchet that macgee mentioned (which is a decent little ratchet, I've got one) is a steady $9-10 everywhere I've seen it for example.

Whats wrong with them? I have a few Pro-Grade extensions (same as Titan) and they seem great!

Haha yeah, I read your thread...next month, I shear off some POS lag screw that I bought from Home Depot. Guess what's in the mail the next day...

Anything else that's clever worth picking up? I have most basic hand tools (sockets/ratchets, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc) covered already.

I got the Jumbo Pick and Hook Set (Taiwan) when it was $18.

There's a lot more love for the USA-made Craftsman Pro set, but the Titan versions have the shafts running all the way through the handles to strike caps.

Have you used your set much? If yes, are the steel shafts solid during use or the tips been durable?

How long are the steel shafts from the end of the handles to the tips?
