Look at Summit. I think they are the lowest currently. Zoro also carries if you have coupon. Put's them around Summit's price.

I've never figured out Vim's stocking model. Everywhere seems to go in and out of stock for long periods of time.

Looking around, there isnt many retailers for the rails up here in Canada at all. Here was one of the only Canadian ads I could find. Prices seem to be just a straight USD to CAD conversion from Vim's site.

OMG inflation is real. Weren't the street prices on these below $30 before the pandemic?!? It looks like I am going to be sticking to one and only V2 for the foreseeable future.

To compliment 2ndGear's comment, am not sure how mobile the v2 magrails actually are though. The magnet is brutally strong so much so mine stays permanently in one place on the cart. Apparently there is a special pull handle that allows some degree of mobility, but I could see the magnetic pull of this thing attracting a lot of metal objects in a tool bag.

The old v1s are fairly mobile though as they don't have the double sided magnet.

the pull handle is pretty much a requirement if you want to move the rail. Your other option if you have room is to knock it sideways using multiple sockets to act as a lever. They are wicked strong even through drawer liner.

I would like them however to make an intermediate size between the 16 and 20. 16 is just too short for full set of impacts on one rail.

Try Tooltopia. They sell 12" for under $30 no studs.

Summit is the cheapest. I just did the research and spent some money. I also found out that the newer VIM magrails are now powdercoated instead of anodized like the old ones. The new ones are a slight different red and blue color of course and I don't think they look as good as the anodized because of the subtle waviness you get with coatings.

I had to search what a Vim Ma Grail even is.
Was thinking it was booze 🤣

Magnetic anything is a major pain, even metal dust sticks all over.

That's disappointing. I know they powder-coated the hi viz green and orange ones.
