There is no way I could have resisted putting something in the middle of that traffic circle.

Cool pics, thanks for sharing.

Nice! Anymore old shots of the shop? That is a pretty cool setup. Man look at that awesome Mobil sign out front.

Love wooden floors and really considering it for my build to come. How about fire risks when welding or grinding? Just a welding blanket under the car and no problem?

Love the older car dealerships...way more character then these "New Mega Stores" we're stuck with now. Your building reminds me a lot of the Ford dealership I grew up in, my grandpa was a Ford mechanic for over 50yrs and my dad has been one for over 37yrs now. My grandpa worked in the same 2 stalls from 1948 till the early 90's when they built a new dealership to keep Ford happy.

Cool place you there...thanks for sharing.

magnusk750, no issues whatsoever. don't even need a welding blanket. its pretty well treated, not sure how but you can drop flaming hot steel on it and it doesn't even mark it. I have more pix I just need to get them from my phone to here tomorrow

When a european motorhead like me daydreams about a cost to cost trip there are places like this popping up on the outskirts of every small town. When we've had a whiskey in the saloon, ah no sorry, coffe and pie in the diner, we drop by at the garage for a chat and to ask for NOS head gaskets for a 100 hp side valve... Then we wake up. But, really cool to know that there are a few places like that, yours one of them.

Also dreaming of an 58 Edsel, I'll take it to your place for service when I got it :)
