I want one for sure. I just find it really cool for an outdoor light for a BBQ/entertainment area. http://coolmaterial.com/home/anglep...296828522&mc_cid=de68e30ac5&mc_eid=fc158d997f

If you were good with tools, you could build one. Start with a vintage stage light from ebay. There's always alot of them on there. The light source would need to be re-worked into something more modern. They're typically really big. Making the articulating arm wouldn't be that tough.

I keep looking at it thinking... wouldn't be that hard to build, just need to find a light fixture that resembles the desktop version.

I would build one that looks like the "Death Star". the light would be in the parabolic focusing dish.
