so i am pretty big into cashing in scrap metal on my time off from my regular job for extra cash.. so i show up today to get some scrap out of a basement and this stuff is what i find.. i could not believe it!!!!.. the saw looks OLD and is a craftsman, the 2 chainsaws are craftsman, i can not find any markings or anything on the drill press but looks old and is super heavy... my favorite piece is the old orange cabinet..

I LOVE the drill press. Hope you'll do a restoration on it with old time colors and the markings in gold or some contrasting color. It kinda looks dangerous to use....but I'd use it anyway - WITH extra care. Excellent haul!

The grey chain saw is like one I have. It is Craftsman brand, but is a Poulan manufacture..

The drill press is too cool. Nice score on all that stuff.

That cabinet might be from the 60's . When my dad had his Sinclair gas
service station I remember all the points and condensers were in something like that. Awesome ! Was it all free too ?

I have that same little Sears battery charger. I have had it for about 30 years and still use it all the time!
6 Volt for the old Ford 8N tractor and 12 for the cars trucks and even the M35A1 24 volt system.

Have the same cabinet, mine was on the grass at an apartment building where I did some work. Mine came with a lock, but no key, so I installed a thumb latch to keep the door shut.

Yes, a single shelf. The latch hooks on to the back side, that is folded under. The front of that shelf is even with the insets, for the doors.

Have a look at that link provided to see a variety of latches that will work to hold the door shut.

That is a cool drill press but you would probably get more money out of it scrapping it as opposed to selling it. That cabinet is bad ***.
