I want to do a checkered board floor in my 1800 sq garage and was wondering if anyone has had it done like this?

Also if you have it down on your floor, can you post some pictures?

Thanks guys! A Newbie here!

Welcome aboard Newbie. I don't know about everybody else but that seems like a lot of work. I did mine black and white checker board with sticky tiles. makes sense since if I change my mind a can pull it up and apply changes later if i want. But everybody has a certain way they want their floor. Sure you will get different ideas from this forum.

This would be a great way to do it if the price was right. I have a neighbor who actually had the floor stained red like brick, then cut the lines (about 1/16"-1/8") deep so it looks like morter. This is great because it won't peel like an epoxy coat and you don't have to mess with tiles. Wish I had gone the stained concrete direction with cut grooves.
