Hello, I'm from Lacon, which is about 30 miles north of East Peoria, IL on the east side of the river. I joined about a week or so ago, and thought I'd better intro myself so I can join in the discussions.

I bought my present house and shop in October '08, and am still working on getting the shop in order. Seems like there are always other things that need to be done first. The shop is a 24x40 Morton-style building, I guess. I still have to finish painting the ceiling and have two more sections of wall to cover and paint.

I've already gleaned a load of information off this site...wish I'd found it sooner.
