Been lurking here for a few weeks, what a great site! Getting ready to meet with an architect to design a 30 X 40 shop with a second story for entertainment. Pricing will dictate how far we go with finishing the second story right now.

The shop will definitely be a working shop. Cars are my passion, currently have a 71 Corvette and a 99 Camaro for toys. Looking to build the shop in such a way that it could house a good size powerboat in the future. I would like to get one but that is on the "wish list".

Any tips, tricks, suggestions, regrets from your build will be greatly appreciated.

We are just a few miles east of Olathe. Go there quite frequently as that is where the closest Bass Pro is although it is not a very big one.
