Checkoff list for sockets?

Anyone have a checkoff list for sockets in various drive sizes and configurations. Such as deep shallow, 6 pt, 12 pt impact etc?

I'm looking for something I can take to pawn shops and garage sales and can use to see if I need any of the sockets I find. I know I can make my own but I'm feeling lazy.

The pic is what I started with for metric. It has the common sizes.

In a spreadsheet you can add standard, mid, and deep so you have the full range.
Of course you have six point and 12 point as well.

This is a good idea. I spent an entire day driving looking around for a specific size socket that doesn't normally come with sets. Had I thought about missing it before hand I would have bought it before I "needed" it.

I guess such a list would differ from Craftsman to Snap-on and such wouldn't it?

A little research and I found the online Craftsman open stock catalog. Start looking at p. 120

a generic socket size list would work on any sockets, you may not be able to find some sizes in certain brands though.

Yeah sselander, something like that. Complete sets of all sizes would be nice. I could sit down for the next few hours and figure it out but if someone has one already made, that would be great.

Thats what I am looking for. I want something I can quickly check to see if I have it at home or not. Don't want to be buying multiple 1/4" drive 13mm 6 pt deep sockets etc.

I'm trying to fill in some of the empty spaces on my socket trays. I'm looking for used quality USA sockets. I don't need them to all be the same brand. Not that OCD.

So I'm not the only one with socket set completion OCD, good to know haha. I've got a list sitting in front of me that I'm going over right now actually. I've been on a mission to complete all the sets I actually use as best as possible.

Trying to stick with one brand is the real hard part which I don't think can actually be done.

I use the "Notes" app on iphone right now but there are document apps that would be more efficient.

I have the 299 Piece set from Craftsman, and I never had to look for a size I needed.

However mid depth sockets would be nice.

Make a want list posted in the want section then add the link to your signature on here and then check your phone for the ones you need, I of course am assuming you have a smart phone?

I found that gearwrench has socket size 15mm in 1/4" drive 6 pt shallow and deep! I don't think I'll ever use a 1/4" ratchet for a 15mm bolt but at least I won't have an empty spot in my tray!!!!

Shallow number: 80137
Deep number: 80150

Ps I keep a list in my wallet and one on the notes app of my phone.

I just made a list of what I have in Excel. I need to go through it now and figure out which ones I want to buy/upgrade. Once I get the buy/upgrade list together I'll print it off and start watching the pawn shops, flea markets, here, ....
