Ok, I got a little work done in the garage. I moved the gorilla shelf to the opposite side of my garage to make space for a workbench. I framed the bench 16" o.c. and used 3/4 ply on top, and will bend 16 gauge galvenized to wrap the front and top of bench. I wanted a bench I could store tools and toys underneath since I am working with such a small space. The small work table has a temporary plywood top that will be replaced with steel so I can use this as a welding table. I bought this tables legs new, they have adjustable feet which helps since the concrete is uneven. I am still deciding if I want power dropped from the ceiling or outlets above a backsplash at the workbench. Well this is what I have got done this week and I like it much better than it was set up last week! When I was working on the bench my wife came out and said, you should get some heat installed out here! Boy is she smart, I am going to take her advice on that one!!! I will post more pics with more progress. Thankyou to all who have been posting pics of small spaces to keep ideas rolling, and thankyou to all with big shop pics to keep the dreams going!

Nice. Let's see some pics of the nice '66.
Getting back to work on the 66 is a big part of the reason to make this space workable, I will have to take more pics for sure. I have had this car since I was 18 and that was a long time ago, it has not been painted in 20 some years and needs some work, but it is still so much fun and still gets nice comments even with the dings, scratches and all!

That is a generic diacro bender. It bends small flat stock and round stock. I just have it mocked up there, still deciding best location for tools on that table. And thankyou for the nice comments!
