Yeah it is on, but with the economy where it is and the price of gas, unless they are looking for a dedicated tow rig it is going to be tough selling it... Nice truck though.

Being that your truck is 10 years old now, and dealers are basically giving away new ones you may have better luck donating this and using the tax deduction. Either that or lower your asking price to $2,000.

Exactly - there is such a glut in the supply of new pickups that dealers looking to move them have to give them away, often at a loss, just to produce some cash flow (since the dealer gets drafted for the cost of the vehicle when the order it) and help them stay above water in the short term.

This has placed tremendous downward pressure on the used truck market since most people who need a pickup see the great value in buying new right now. The second factor hitting the used market hard right now is the lack of financing. New car dealers are having a problem as it is, but loans for private party used car sales have all but dissapeared - because there is no value in the underlying asset - the used vehicle.

That's why I am suggesting this truck will only bring about $2,000 in resale and you're better off donating it as you'll be able to claim a much higher value for tax deduction.
