Joe, I had my 1700 sq feet of concrete slab SHOT BLASTED by a local pro this morning
(Sunday 10/7/12). He actually had his two employees do the job. They were in and completely out in three hours. Paid him $600. 600 divided by 1700 = .35 per foot.
People have told me that's cheap.......but $600 for 3 hours (2 1/2 actual machine time)
is still alot of money in my world !!!!!!

Anyway this contractor is certified with KOSTER so I may go with him for the mositure
barrier as I hope to have the KOSTER 10 year warranty.
KOSTER VAP2000 mositure control is estmated to cost $1500 for material
and contractor wants $250 to apply it.......I'm very leary to go with
one of the less expensive silicate based moisture barriers.

Would like to have additional customer testimonial or positive review before I order the
POLY GEM 1618 Epoxy and Torginal Flakes.

What a joke. I agree on the no input to help others but tries to push sales. This is the type of person that deserves to have auto crash on email and website. If I was still young I would do it for fun.

To all, FYI, Joe Hackl from LW Const has PM'd me previously and given me suggestions.

I also spoke with him on the phone the other day regarding his use of Poly Gem epoxy.

He evidently isnt up to speed on Internet protacol, puntcuation and capitalization (nor can I spell).

Just saying let's make an effort here to educate the gentleman, before you'll throw him under the bus.
