Pretty much guaranteed that she won't be back to explain..............after some of the posts..
I suspect the house was purchased with one of those ARM mortgages, close to the maximum amount you could finance, and the rate adjusted up at an inopportune time.
Holy ****, somehow I missed 2 pages of the thread from yesterday. Going back to read now.
I'll talk to him about it and see. he seems pretty willing to do anything at this point. (yes, he knows what's going on. I hated telling him, but that's not something I wanted to explain on the drive home from his return)So.. What are the numbers? How much do you owe, what's the payment, and how much behind are you?

Proud of him for that. Poor guy. I swear, every time I try to make his life happier, it ends up blowing up in both our faces.
. You can't leave this treasure behind, it needs to be passed to one of us on the forum. So how about having a auction on this site for this piece of history! The proceeds may help with that Home Depot bill2DoubleDs, you have acquired one very desirable item that should be passed on like an Olympic torch. I'm referring to the slightly seasoned pre enjoyed stripper pole. You can't leave this treasure behind, it needs to be passed to one of us on the forum. You are *at most* 3 payments behind.
Either that, or you missed your September house payment, THEN joined here looking for garage fix-up ideas, THEN blew $2k at Home Depot fixing up a garage that you have no intention of keeping.
Weird.

Well, it's not just the daycare. Our mortgage payment just went up and is slated to go up again in 6 months. And then apparently AGAIN 6 months after that. It's like they WANT people to loose their houses. I know quite a few people (including my parents) who are going through the same thing. It's really getting ridiculous out here. California is kind of ridiculous to start with, but now it's absurd.
Amen... 2DD's you may want to go to the base Jag office. Theres also a relief act for deployed military (now if I could only remember teh name of it).Losing one's home shouldn't be part of military service.
Where is the scam part? She didn't ask for anything - I offered, and the offer still goes. If you don't want to contribute, don't, but don't come on here accusing her of this being a scam.
I for one am grateful for this man's sacrifice and his family's sacrifice, and I'll gladly help her out anyway I can. Losing one's home shouldn't be part of military service.
Vicious Cycle Don't be an *******, it is not a nice attribute!![]()
