I'm looking for a pair of safety glasses for my 5 year old son. He has some of the typical large plastic goggles with the elastic band that wraps around the back of his head. I've always found that type really uncomfortable and I'm sure he does as well. Does anyone have any experience with a real pair of safety glasses that would protect my son's eyes and be comfortable for a 5 year old child to wear? It wouldn't hurt if he thought they looked cool too.

I was thinking about something along these lines, but I'm not sure if they're small enough to fit a 5 year old.

Check gun shops, I know remington, S&W and a probably a couple other gun companies make safety glasses for kids. They should work fine for other uses too.

They also sell hearing protection for the little ones too. I got my two kids (6 and 8) a set of muffs and a set of glasses. They are trained to use them ALWAYS when we work in the shop
