I hope those putting all that time and money into a kid's playhouse have a plan to convert it into something else later. How long does a kid use something like that? A few years tops. They grow up way too fast.

Here is something I copied off a pintrest site my wife found. It was built to fit in the side yard....plus I store my lawn mower and some bikes under it (need to duck).

I couldn't find a pic of the finished product but it has 4 white shear curtains that hang in the front and a couple of bean bags and some other finishes. She wanted a tree house but we don't have any sizable trees in our back yard that would work.

My Version, its become a work in progress. I have 3 grandsons so far, each one has items added as they get a birthday. Next is a covered paved area behind the walkway to store the toys and bikes.

Yay, I finally get to participate in one of these "show me your.." threads. Literally finished yesterday, for my 2 year old daughter and her little sister on the way. Still need to finish the windows and door, but it's "done" for now.
