Hello,

Earlier this year I had Platonic Solid set me up with a suggested lighting diagram. As you can see from my build thread below, I'm building a "nicer" wood shop/garage. I don't work on cars, and it's not a pole building (though I sometimes wish it were).

I asked for a wrap light fixture, and he suggested these:

Wondering if (based on another thread I read recently) there are better options... even potentially including LED.

I asked this follow up question to Platonic, and he offered the idea of a fixture that was over $200 each which, to be honest, is really a non-answer. Very, very few people on this board are going to drop $200 a piece on fixtures. So.... I need some options for the 20 or so 4 foot fixtures that I need

Thanks

Today's LED strip fixtures are very similar to yesterday's fluorescent wrap fixtures in some aspects, if they're lensed.
Check into a Philips Fluxstream EZ fixture. It's only about 1.5" x 1.5" x 4' long. It's lensed, so that the LED's dont blind you. It's 40w and 4000 lumens and it's less than $100 at your local electrical supply house. There are similar versions by other manufacturers.

Lithonia ZL2N is another strip similar to FluxstreamEZ.
Philips slimsurface is a really thin LED downlight, round or square, that mounts to an electrical ceiling box.
