the milwaukee blades are not that great, I would get the Feud diablo set instead. They really cut better. Kept the dewalt and invest in the better blades.

I have an older Milwaukee Sawzall that has done me well. Though, it's not so old that it came in a metal case (Mine is plastic).
Never had a problem with it, and I don't find the allen-screw blade changer a probllem. Guess I just never knew any better.

i picked up a f'd up CM that they were throwing away at work.
some dipstick mangled the foot, and partially stripped out the blade retainer threads.
for the once everey 3 years i need it, it was worth the time i spent cleaning up the threads on the retainer,
i was gonna suggest saving a few bucks and checking the pawn shops for an extremely used one...
but never mind

Just wanted to come back and say that I decided to keep the Milwaukee. I used it yesterday and I couldn't be happier!

Still loving it? Think I'm headed to HD to pick one up tomorrow..
My old DeWalt's battery gave up the ghost and I'm sick of cordless for the most part..

I have two older Milwaukee's. The oldest does not have a removable cord, or a quick release. The other one was an anniversary model that does have a removable cord and quick release. They both are in "metal" cases, and have served me well. I do like the new M18 Fuel cordless, and that will be on my "wish" list.

out of the saws i have, milwaukees are the best balanced.
porter cable for sheer power. their tiger cub is a very versatile tool.( I just looked at their site, no longer available)
my bosch.......... havent used it enough for an opinion, other than dislike of their 'quick change' chuck. for that matter, i dislike all quick chucks. when one of my milwaukee's quick jaw quit, i redid it with the standard clamp style
