choosing the lighting

im building a 24x24 garage 8 foot walls. how much 4 ft t8 2 bulb fixtures would be adequate? and what bulbs would put best light out?

also what about spacing...anyone have a layout? im thinking 3 rows of 3 fixtures or 2 rows of 3 ???? what do you all think would be best?

576 sq. ft garage needs about 18 32w bulbs as a good rule of thumb is 1 watt per sq. ft. for flourescent light, So you'd probably do best w/ 3 rows of 3 for 9 total fixtures.
