chop saw abrasive blades not dry cut

Starting this thread after a good search of the forum and found nothing. This is not a dry cut thread but an abrasive question. I cut way to much oil field 2 7/8 tubing and think that a dry cut will not hold up. So I chose abrasive.

What is the best blade that you have found for the price?

If you have experience with a dry cut and oil field tubing and have had a great long lasting experience let me know.

I think you made the right choice. A dry cut is not known for endurance cutting. Its easy to ruin a $100+ blade. They are meant more for fabrication where angles and accuracy are essential.

As for abrasive blades, they seem to always be on sale somewhere.

But good brands for any abrasives would be:
_ PFERD
_ SAIT

I would check Cripe, looks like they have some VA 14" blades made in Canada.

When it comes to abrasives, my go to is Metabo... Always happy with the durability/price/bang for the buck with Metabo.
