On his radio show yesterday Chris said he sold the California a year ago but wouldn't give any details other than that

He's a Ferrari nut, as is obvious. He has most of them painted white. I know a guy who has done some restoration work on a couple of cars he's owned. I did hear a rumour he had sniffed around the 250 GTO race car owned by Nick Mason of Pink Floyd fame. That car is still actively raced in the UK and Europe, and is just as it was in the 60's. Nick has an article a Sunday newspaper did when he bought the car after the success of the Dark side of the moon album. He paid approx £60,000 for it, and the article said how he had been ripped off. The Uk grapevine rumbles with the news he recently turned down £20 million for it, and that a certain ginger dj may have been interested? I've seen the car very up close, and its stunning. Correct patina, just the right amount of use, and totally gorgeous!

He sold his production company and radio station for uk285 million. He's more than just a DJ.

Yes, but for those of us NOT in the UK who only know him from his Top Gear appearances, all they've ever mentioned was that he was a morning drive time DJ. How would we know otherwise?
