Hi all - New guy here -
My name is Clark and I live around Chicago - Go Bears!
Anyway, I am putting up my Christmas lights and my wife was questioning whether is is safe or knot.

Putting up Christmas lights is most definitely not safe but not doing what your wife wants is also not safe. So, sometimes you have to make compromises and decide which action to take.

I told my wife there was no way I was putting lights on the gables (14/12 pitch roof) so we compromised and put lights on the areas that were safer to get to.
