I got a variety of tools that I picked out and bought over the last few months

F80
Snap-on metric and standard crowsfoot sets - flare nut
Gearwrench 20pc screwdriver set
Gearwrench 7pc pick and hook set
Lenox 17pc hole-saw kit
Hack saw blades
Mac Tools SAE crowsfoot set
Craftsman flare nut crowsfoot set SAE
Gearwrench X-beam ratcheting wrench set 8-19mm
Gearwrench 5pc double boxed end ratcheting wrenches 20-25mm (no 23mm)
Ernst wrench racks for SAE and Metric sets
Snap-on 13/16 spark plug socket

I'd say I did pretty well. I had to re-oraganize both of my tool boxes to get all this stuff to fit. I definitely need more storage now!

My wife gave me a bottle of C25 for my MIG welder. Of course, I picked it out. I have never had a bottle of gas for it, so now I'm ready. My niece gave me a Home Depot gift card, and I still haven't figured out what I am going to get, but it will be tools for sure.

I fell like I racked up this year! I got the following:

8mm - 25mm 16 piece gearwrench reversing wrench set (large completer set is back ordered and will be here later...)

Crescent 12", 8", 6", and 4" adjustable wrenches.

General pocket scale and mini pry bar.

Channellock 4.5", 6.5"

ViseGrip 9ln, 7r, 4ln

Got dad the Snap On JCW95R adjustable bucket seat, he was happy and that thing is solid! :)

My Wife swears that my cat of 11 years went out shopping and got me a smaller Craftsman toolbag, an LED pickup magnet, and some car washing goodies. (A really cool dash dusting microfibre towel among the lot. The wife got me a sweet new desk chair with memory foam)

She, er, I mean the car thought I could use the toolbag for mobile detailing...but I'll find another use for it. It's just too small.

Now a bit off topic...I had to go to Lowes to get a part for the boiler today and saw something that might be perfect for mobile detailing. Since I got a Lowe's giftcard...this would could as Christmas loot.

The girlfriend surprised me with something desperately needed for the new shop... yet the sales crew at Canadian Tire recommended the top cabinet instead of the bottom one (said I could build a shelf to put it on). Hmm... buggers... since I don't even have the drywall/wiring done... looks like I'm either gonna have to build a metal cart or buy the bottom myself...

Ha... but who am I kiddin'... WAHOOO... think I'll put the woodworking tools in this one... the old top and base cabinet I have has bigger drawers for the metal/auto working tools to fit in. I just wish I could've seen her and my mother unload this tank of a chest... can't believe how heavy it is empty...

41-in. Mastercraft Maximum Euro Chest

Also dove into the stocking and found this Lee Valley Miter Hook...

Miter Hook.jpg

and a neat little Lee Valley 90 degree angle driver for those odd times a long bit will not fit...

I used some Sears giftcards I got for Christmas to get the Craftsman Professional portable table saw (#21829). It's $430 this month with Craftsman Club. Unfortunately, it was out of stock everywhere and I had to order it. Hopefully it will be in tomorrow morning or Saturday at the latest. Can't wait to try out my first table saw.

We had our family Christmas on New Years day due to work schedules... hard to pass up double time and a half. KaChing!

My wife went overboard again. She is the best!

Some USA made Craftsman pics/hooks.

With some sorry a$$ QC in the handle assembly and placement of the knurling.

The obligatory C-man bottle opener.

Made in the correct location.

Smart girl found these on the clearance rack for $10. Might never use them but for that price they got bought.

These I specifically asked for as I had no metric 1/4" drive stuff.
DSC03086.jpg

She found the dual marked stuff in the back... again, smart girl. She remembered me bitching about my laser marked 1/2" drive stuff.

ChiCom but useful.

This last one I got for myself.
My first compressor. It should be more than I will need in a compressor for the next few years. 100% duty cycle. My main requirements were portability and over 5 cfm. I plan on a 220volt system some day and this will tide me over.

This tag on the tank says Made in USA but I have no delusions that the whole thing is.

How about that weld? :shocking: The welds on the tank are flawless, the handle... clearly this guy knows how to weld but just doesn't seem to care enough to do it right. Maybe that is why he is welding handles for air compressors. :lol_hitti

I have these, and use them frequently, but cant say I am all the happy with them. The tips are good, but the shafts always start spinning loose from the handle at inopportune times. One of these days I will replace them with something else.

I thought the design a bit odd. Not sure why they didn't put a scredriver style handle on them? The thin pencil sized diameter might make them useful in certain situations though.

Might put some locktite on the threads.
