Chrome M Alloy

I was looking through some DBE wrenches and found this one labeled
“CHROME M ALLOY”
Is this a brand name?
It looks like it could be a Barcalo maybe.

I took it to be a horrible misspelling of Chrome Moly. And sure enough a google search of "Chrome Malloy" turns up quite a few results. Of course this is 100% pure speculation.

I think it's an intentional abbreviation for chrome molybdenum.

Thank you. I have seen lots of variations of the Chrome Alloy description but I have never noticed the molybdenum denoted by just an M. But it makes sense now.
