Not exactly "chrome plating" but sort of related is: http://vacuumorna-metal.com/ I haven't used them but some one I know had the trim on his 1969 Mustang dash board re-done and he was extremely happy with results and price. So for your vacuum metalizing [plastic and glass and maybe more] these guys aren't too far away (+/-)
